Since its establishment in 1977, the Da'an Meat Market in Taichung City has consistently served as a key local hub for meat supply and slaughtering operations.
It serves as a key hub for live pig slaughtering, production, and distribution in the Taichung area, stabilizing local pork supply and regulating meat prices; it relies on traceability certification to ensure meat safety, drives the development of the livestock industry in the Da'an area, bridges farmers with markets, and enhances the fresh meat supply chain.
Wastewater Treatment Expansion Project
Slaughterhouse operations generate large volumes of contaminated wastewater. As operational demand has increased, the existing wastewater treatment facilities have gradually become unable to keep pace with the treatment load. To address these environmental protection shortcomings, the market has launched a renovation project, adding two new wastewater treatment tanks and completing a comprehensive treatment process encompassing wastewater collection, sludge pumping and discharge, aeration, and drainage; this has resulted in more stable operation of the wastewater treatment system and further enhanced environmental performance.

To address the operational challenges posed by the high impurity content and high load in slaughterhouse wastewater, the project adopted the HCP River View pump solution:
✅ Equipped with four 80 AFP23.7A units featuring a unique P-type cutting impeller that can chop up debris, significantly reducing the risk of solid particle blockages;
✅ Equipped with two HWPD-20730A units featuring a direct coaxial connection, making maintenance and servicing more hassle-free.
Accessories
After dynamic balancing correction, the impeller operates with low vibration and low noise; its blades can cut through common foreign objects, prevent soft solid contaminants from causing blockages, and reduce the incidence of pump blockage failures.
Equipped with a high-efficiency squirrel-cage motor, the motor's starting performance, load endurance, and temperature-rise characteristics have all been carefully optimized through precision design; the windings are treated with special insulation, resulting in higher efficiency and longer service life.
